PYRANA is built with Python 3.10+ on the backend using FastAPI, Pydantic v2, asyncpg, and a uv workspace monorepo structure.

The backend stack is opinionated for async performance and type safety. FastAPI provides the API layer, Pydantic v2 handles validation, asyncpg gives direct PostgreSQL async access, and uv manages the Python workspace.
